Rather than backdate a load of posts and pretend that we wrote them months ago, let’s give you a bit of an update from where we are up to now:
- Daniel proposed to Nataša in December 2023
- The decision had to be made on UK Wedding versus Serbian Wedding and in the end Serbia was chosen because of Serbian nationals needing a visa to visit the UK.
- Cost in each country was also a consideration.
- In October 2024, we started looking at Venues, visiting a few of them before deciding on our current choice.
- Menu was actually a pretty easy decision because Sarma (Nataša’s favourite)
- Band, Pyro, Decorations were booked in pretty short order.
- A meeting with the registrar was had by Nataša especially to find out what documents Daniel would need.
- A Dress was chosen. (Given it’s Daniel writing this currently, I have no more details, sorry!)
- Not long after, Nataša was in the UK for a couple of months and hundreds of invitations were looked at and hundreds of songs were listened to and eventual decisions were made.
- Daniel’s suit was chosen.
- Kum and Kuma (Best Man & Maid of Honour) were finalised!
- Now it’s March 9th and invitations have started going out – we will upload the animated version in a post.
Thus, we land on today the website has had a few updates which I’m then hoping get some graphic updates from my talented soon-to-be wife!
For those of you coming to the wedding, we can’t wait for you to see it all. For those of you who can’t come, we’re trying to ensure a gallery on this website for all to see.
